Ashley Ludwinksi

Ashley Ludwinski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who joined my practice in August 2022. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at Binghamton University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience at Colgate University. Ashley brings with her years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups with diverse social identities. She supports individuals and couples navigating trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, chronic pain/illness, relational conflict, life transitions, and identity exploration across the lifespan. Ashley is passionate about supporting folks identifying as neurodivergent (eg.experiencing ADHD and/or ASD), especially those diagnosed later in life who may be grappling with implications of internalized narratives about themselves and their abilities, while also seeking options for identifying and implementing strategies to navigate through feelings of overwhelm.

Whether supporting clients exploring the impact of previous life seasons and narratives, grieving current implications of loss, or dreaming about potential future experiences, Ashley firmly believes every client holds expertise in their own experiences and deserves the right to make decisions honoring their personal journeys, values, and goals. Using a range of therapeutic approaches and tools, Ashley partners with clients to identify internalized messages and stories that contribute to experiences of isolation and loneliness. She offers attentive support as clients explore and express the impact of these stories, while collaboratively rewriting them and identifying spaces in which belonging can occur. Her practice primarily incorporates trauma-informed, relational-cultural, feminist, and interpersonal lenses. In her work with individuals and couples, Ashley draws from a range of theoretical approaches, including the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). In addition to her experience supporting individuals and couples as a therapist in outpatient settings and university counseling centers, Ashley’s approach is also informed by over 12 years of experience as a parent, educator, and wellness program coordinator.
